So the Optometrist tells me I have Albino eyes. This is why I am sensitive to light. This is why I "need to wear sunglasses like, ALL of the time" according to Dr. Bond.
I found this hilarious. So hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing in his office. He was a bit concerned, but I told him not to worry about it. The Albino eyes is not something that I need to treat, but but prescription has changed for distance, so I am in the market for news frames (or possibly just new lenses).
So, Sra and Larissa told me I should check out Clearly Contacts. They always give great advice.
So I'm contemplating getting a pair of fashion-y type frames that have transition lenses. A very preliminary search turned up these styles that might be ok: this one, and this one.
For your reference and entertainment, the picture at the top is a scan of the retina of an albino eye. That is EXACTLY what my scan looked like at the optometrist.
The picture below is of a regular eye. The dark bits absorb light. My eyes don't do this very well, as you might imagine.
