I went to the library the other day to check out some books now that knitting season has started up again (that is, the weather is cold and we feel like knitting).
There were more books than I expected and I've bookmarked a number of cute patterns (mostly for babies) that I think I can actually pull off. Hopefully I can get some done before Emmett outgrows whatever I make.
There were a couple of books that I came across that I simply could not leave on the shelf. They were too hilarious and I had to bring them home to share with Regan.
One was "Men who knit and the dogs who love them" (left), and the other was the "Man's knitting book" with patterns from the 20s through to the 50s (although there seem to be some 80s itmes in there too).
My favourite pattens are definitely the "Father and Son Special" and the multiple swim suits. Just use your imagination to think about what might happen to those suits the second they get wet. Delightful.
